July and August was always a time spent frantically preparing for the AW season in fashion
e-commerce.
We held our breath while waiting for campaign shoots to be shot, e-commerce product shots to be processed, new product descriptions to be written and a whole new branding and marketing concept to be created - ready for us designers to pull the whole concept together. Deadlines were tight, but when we launched the feeling was great! A real sense of teamwork and achievement...and then it was straight onto the next launch.
Things are a little different this year! 2020 has spun us a few surprises - but nevertheless businesses will still be launching, and perhaps in a different way than expected.
So how can you prepare for your launch and what key things will help you create your ideal campaign on time?

1. Find your launch date and work your way backward
Give yourself and your teams enough time to gather the information they need to produce for your campaign!
2. Plan your design assets
Think about how long your campaign will run for and how much design assets you'll need across all of your online channels.
3. Plan how you'll communicate with your customers
Will there be different perks for new or returning customers?
- how will you message this clearly alongside brand messaging?
4. How do you plan to show up?
What channels will you use for the visibility of your new launch?
How will you stand out from the rest and create a storm of engagement?
5. What's the story?
Create a sequential story that will keep your campaign fresh for a number of weeks.
